Convention Quotes

“I enjoy the opportunity to travel to places unknown, renew friendships, make new ones, and learn more about our great Country.” – Mary

“My favorite memory is from my first convention. I entered the auction room alone and sat down alone. I wondered what was going on with all the people milling around some tables. I murmured to myself, ‘I wonder how this auction works’ and immediately the couple in front turned around and befriended me and explained the whole process. I’ll never forgot their friendliness to a newcomer!” – Catherine

“Over the years we have learned to appreciate types of bells we didn't even know existed until we saw an educational program about them at conventions. – Neil

“As a younger member, I am always made to feel welcomed and valued.” – Jen

“My favorite memories are from our first convention and the new friends we made. If you are a collector of bells, the ABA convention is a must! The best part is coming home with bells to add to the collection.” – Roger

“Attending that first convention gave me a real appreciation for the extent of variety in bells that exist. Some of the most unbelievable and unique bells were at convention and really turned me on to collecting. The sales room, displays and auction was quite a treat for me!” – Al
