Acceptable Use Policy
`Bell Talk` is an open forum for the discussion of bell hobby issues. No article will be edited or removed, except under the following circumstances:

Articles containing profanity, obscene language or references will be edited with the offensive language removed. Any user who finds material posted by another user objectionable is encouraged to contact a Moderator or Forum Admin via email or Private Message.

Articles of an obviously libelous nature will be removed or edited, as will articles which advocate or pose a threat against any individual, or encourage the commission of an illegal act, except those acts commonly considered to be acts of civil disobedience. The ABA will assist law enforcement in the prosecution of any criminal act advocated or occurring on this board.

Periodic maintenance on the list will require the removal of older articles or topic threads which have generated little or no interest. Articles that contain coding which may compromise the proper function of the forum will also be edited or deleted.

Posts promoting a business, whether directly or by reference, are considered `off-topic` and may be removed.

The Internet Committee of ABA is the sole determiner of what article content is subject to these guidelines. We are authorized by you to remove or modify any data submitted by you to these forums for any reason we feel constitutes a violation of our policies, whether stated, implied or not.

Neither the Administrators of these forums, nor the Moderators participating, are responsible for the privacy practices of any user. Remember that all information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to share any of your personal information. For more information about our privacy practices, please read our Privacy Policy.

This site may contain links to other web sites and files. We have no control over the content of another site and can not ensure that it will not be offensive or objectionable. We will, however, remove links to material that we feel is inappropriate as we become aware of them.

Users under the age of 13 are welcome; however, our younger users must have permission of a parent or guardian to register (write us for information about permission arrangements). The account of any user found to have violated this requirement will be terminated and a parent or guardian notified, if possible. In any event, it is the responsibility of parents to supervise their children's online activities. The ABA and Shoestring Solutions may not be held responsible for any injury arising out of a violation of this policy.
