He should have the aluminum arm for a 10" naval bell in the next couple of days.

If any of you fine folks are interested in obtaining a reproduction brass mounting arm for a 10" bell, I would contact Dennis while he has my original aluminum arm.

I know many ABA members may be interested. I don't want to be in the middle. I do suggest that you contact Dennis directly and work out a deal with the man while he has the original. He also has my written permission to reproduce and sell as many units as he can to ABA members.

If it comes out looking as good as your restored bell, you will have a fine presentation piece. There should be others out there in need of the mounting.

Dennis has taken some time off and I have been slacking on sending the aluminum casting out to him.
He will be back in his office in a week or so. He should have the arm to copy by then.

Once I get a quote I will post it if OK with Dennis.

The foundry contacted me after they received my sample.
They are not interested unless I want to buy 100 pieces or more.
I have not given up on the idea. Once my sample arm is returned I will keep looking for a foundry that can handle small jobs.
