North Dakota Bell Towers

Postby beausone » Sun Jul 11, 2010 6:49 pm

We came across a couple of bell towers in North Dakota this spring. One was at the entrance to a farm near Mott. I tried to find the owners in ABA list and tried to find something about their towers on the internet, but no success. I do not show their names and hope they do not mind my publishing the photos here. I wish I could find out more about their towers.
The second is a private memorial to Henry A. Niewoehner in Rugby. The bells on the tower are a collection of school, church, and train bells that were retired. The owner will ring one or two of them after a purchase of their booklet giving the history of the tower.
